Come and meet This Esme on Wednesday 2nd August 2023
Posted on 05/07/2023

We are delighted to be hosting presenter, YouTube sensation, World Horse Welfare Patron and rehomer, This Esme on Wednesday 2nd August at our Belwade Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre for a pony-packed day of fun and fundraising this summer!
This exclusive fundraising event is This Esme’s first meeting in Scotland! As well as giving you the opportunity to meet Esme Higgs in person, you will also have the chance to see Esme riding World Horse Welfare Hatchi in a demonstration and hear about how the charity prepares a horse or pony for rehoming. During the day you will be able to walk around Belwade Farm and meet some of the 70 wonderful horses and ponies undergoing rehabilitation in our care.
Ponies just like lovely little Shetland, Snip, who along with his two friends, came into our care when he wasn’t being properly looked after. All three of the Shetlands are now thriving and happy and will be ready to rehome soon!
Belwade Farm, which sits on the River Dee, has miles of safe tracks to walk along so you can see our ponies enjoying life in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. We also have our very own fairy woodland and stone circle as well as Bistro serving delicious food, drinks and ice-creams.
